PADI Deep Specialty Course, Candidasa
The PADI Deep Specialty course at Salty Finns Diving Bali teaches you essential skills for exploring deeper waters. You'll learn how to plan and execute safe deep dives, properly manage your gas supply, and identify and mitigate the effects of nitrogen narcosis.
Experience the excitement of venturing to greater depths, where you'll master buddy contact procedures, depth-specific safety considerations, and advanced buoyancy control techniques.
This course includes
Knowledge development
During this course, you will receive an introduction to diving and learn how to safely dive to a maximum depth of 40 meters. Key skills covered will include managing your gas supply, identifying and addressing the effects of nitrogen narcosis, and recognizing your personal diving limits.
Open water
You will get four dives in the gorgeous seas surrounding Candidasa.
During the four dives with a PADI Instructor, you'll practice descents, buoyancy, and safety stops. Through hands-on exercises, you'll discover how deep dives affect colour, physical objects and your brain.
Study material
We will provide you with the study material required. It is also possible, and highly recommended, to study before arriving in beautiful Bali using the e-Learning manual.
Lunch and refreshments
Participants will be provided with refreshments and tasty lunches during breaks and after diving sessions throughout the duration of the course.
Equipment and fees
Diving equipment and certification fees are provided in the course cost.
Padi certification
Upon successful completion of the course, you will earn a lifelong PADI Advanced Deep Diving Certification, which is recognized globally.
PADI Deep Specialty Course
The Deep Specialty course is a 2 day program. Students can complete the theory portion online through e-learning, and the in-person training takes place at the dive center.

Day 1: Includes the course introduction, theory review, and two dives around Bali.
Day 2: The focus is on knowledge development, followed by two more dives in the local area.

The schedule is flexible, and we can discuss and plan the details to best accommodate your needs.
Diving requirements
You must hold an Advanced Open Water Diver certification (PADI, SSI/NAUI or any other equivalent).
15 years or older
Be in good Health
